Help Center Assist was born out of necessity in 2020, when co-founders Adrian Torres and Michelle Lee helped several friends and relatives navigate coverage options after unexpected job losses. Frustrated by the lack of clear, unbiased resources, they envisioned a platform that would put users first—not insurers. The site officially launched in 2021 and has grown into a trusted source of health insurance education and comparison.
